ABOUT US

Aimee Levin Weiner, Au.D.  is the owner and hands-on practitioner of Listen Hear, a full service audiology center, serving infants through adults.   Aimee has been practicing audiology for the past 29 years, specializing in pediatrics since 1982. She was one of the initial pediatric audiologists at Miami Children’s Hospital and then went on to establish the audiology program at the South Miami Hospital Child Development Center.  She created the Infant Hearing Programs at both Miami Children’s Hospital and South Miami Hospital, and later managed this same program at Broward General Medical Center.  She is a longtime provider for the Early Intervention Program (EIP) and Children’s Medical Services (CMS) program for Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.  Dr. Aimee Levin Weiner has worked successfully for years and continues to work with professional practices throughout the community.      

Beyond traditional hearing testing and hearing aid evaluation / dispensing, “Dr. Aimee” has always had a special interest in auditory processing disorders in children with otherwise normal hearing.  She has been providing evaluation, counseling, and recommendations for these disorders since the beginning of her career.  She is excited that there are now direct interventions that address these processing deficits.  Located within the TheraPeeds center, Listen Hear is perfectly positioned to play its role in the proven successful treatment of these disorders for those who choose to take advantage of the interdisciplinary intervention provided by the professionals of Listen Hear and TheraPeeds.

Listen Hear provides a full array of audiological services for infants, children, adolescents, and adults including hearing testing, hearing aid evaluation, fitting, and dispensing, neuro-auditory evaluation for auditory processing disorders, and listening therapy for auditory processing disorders.
